Restoring a Rusted 1966 Datsun Roadster at Wilson Auto Repair
One of the problems that classic cars have is rust! It’s hard to drive a classic car or truck if it has holes in the floor.
Barry Wilson introduces us to Mark who is a metal fabricator at Wilson Auto Repair. Mark is restoring a 1966 Datsun Roadster that is loaded with rust. You can see in the video the extent of the damage done to this Datsun by years of corrosion.
Mark is going to replace all of the rusted panels, channels and the rusted-out parts that mount the body to the frame with new metal pieces that he has fabricated himself.
Once Mark is done with this Datsun it will be ready to be driven on a daily basis. Check out the video and watch Barry and Mark show you a little behind the scenes action at Wilson Auto Repair.
