This 1950 Chevy truck came to us here at Wilson Auto Repair for some repairs, maintenance and restoration work.
Come take a look at the process we went through to replace the rusted cowl.
In this first picture you can clearly see that the cowl is completely rusted out and even runs up into the window frame.
We removed the entire cowl and got to work replacing the rusted-out metal.
The new cowl has arrived and is ready to be installed.
Next, we need to line up the new cowl and make sure there are no issues with the fit.
A little more body work and this new cowl is looking great! Time to get it to the paint booth.
And there ya have it. One rusted-out cowl looking good as new. Time to move on to the next phase of this 1950 Chevy truck.
