Goodguys 8th Spring Lone Star Nationals at Texas Motor Speedway
Last weekend more than 2,000 rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trucks thru 1987 took to the field of the Texas Motor Speedway for the 8th Spring Lone Star Nationals. There were also tons of vendors and exhibitors on hand, swap meet and cars for sale corral, autocross races and even NASCAR limo rides for some of the lucky spectators.
If you missed the fun, don’t worry we had boots on the ground at the show and have pictures of our favorite cars at the show. Have a look at the pictures we took and then mark your calendars for September 28-30, 2018. That is when Goodguys returns to Texas Motor Speedway for the Goodguys 26th Summit Racing Lone Star Nationals.
Our favorite pick from the show was this bronze Custom Mustang. New motor in the late 60’s body style. All sitting on some cool Foose wheels.
This 1957 Chevy Bel Air was a great example of a high-quality restoration. The proof was in the details.
A little red Corvette was catching looks all day long.
This green machine gets around. It was also spotted at the Goodguys show in Arizona.
This Tri-Five Chevy had style and a menacing stance. The high-styling interior still gave way to that exterior paint and wheel combination. Then there was that motor under the hood which was nothing short of incredible.
Here is another Mustang Mod with a newer 5.0 motor under the hood sitting in a real pretty jewelry box.
Last but not least, there was this LS powered Volvo that brought a smile to everyone’s face.
There were thousands of vehicles at the event. Be sure to check back and see some our favorites from this September’s fall event… or come see for yourself!
