We have a Ford pickup truck that is being restored here at Wilson Auto Repair. The guys have been working hard on it and are almost finished up renovating the bed for it. They have done an incredible job and we wanted to show you our work!
The original bed had a lot of rust. It had rusted bad enough to eat holes through the metal in many places. The only way for us to fix it correctly was to remove the old bed flooring and fabricate new side panels where necessary.
We also raised the height of the bed floor a little bit to give better clearance for the rear axle. The new bed floor and side panels were attached, and it is now ready for the next phase of restoration. Here are some pictures of this project for you to see. The team did a very impressive job on this and it is clear to see when you lay your eyes on the final outcome.
