ClassicCars.com Changes Name of Annual Car Show
ClassicCars.com recently announced the Future Classic Car Show has been rebranded as Future Collector Car Show.
The big reason behind the name change is simple. The term “classic” has evolved, including the term “instant classic.” This made it difficult to identify future classics.
The term “Collector” can refer to anyone in the hobby at any age. And as younger people enter the collector car hobby, ClassicCars.com felt the new name better reflected the scope of their annual show.
ClassicCars.com also announced modifications in the awards to better meet the needs of collectors. These award categories include:
- Best of Show
- Best Modified Vehicle (3 prize levels)
- Best Preserved
- Best Restored
- Rookie of the Year (for owners age 16-25)
- Fan Favorite
- Student’s Choice
- Best Trunk
The show expects more than 8000 spectators and 200 cars. It’s held on High Street in Phoenix, AZ. on Sunday, January 12, 2020. Get more details at https://www.futurecollectorcarshow.com/.
