Classic Car Appreciation Day to Be Celebrated July 10, 2020
This will make the 11th time this day has been celebrated as an annual event. The purpose of the commemorated day is to raise awareness of the essential role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society.
With stay-at-home-orders slowly loosening and people doing their best to get back to their “normal” lives, people are beginning to attend classic car events. The “Quarantine Car Cruise” in the Huntington Beach area brought together more than 2,500 classic cars, hot rods, and muscle cars. These types of events are popping up all across the country.
Enthusiasts should mark their calendars for July 10, 2020 for Collector Car Appreciation Day. You might want to decide how you will be celebrating this important day, especially if you are an owner of a collector classic.
Many automotive-based companies are having sales and we expect to see a lot of people out cruising their cars & trucks. Here is a list of events happening around the country that Friday and throughout the weekend.
Events ranging from informal garage gatherings and barbeques to highly organized events, like car cruises and parades, will be held in support of this annual celebration. It is all about supporting the collector car industry so get out there and take part in an important event. If you have an event you want to see added to the list, you can submit it here.
BY participating in these events, you are helping to preserve history. It is especially important to help preserve these historical vehicles for future generations to enjoy. We hope that Friday June 19th is a big success for the collector car industry and for enthusiasts alike.
