Chasing Classic Cars, The Best Classic Car TV Show With Wayne Carini

Chasing-Classic-Cars-Main-ShowsiteBefore Wayne Carini ever graced our televisions on the show Chasing Classic Cars he was a successful car collector, restorer and expert in all things classic and rare exotic automobiles. From a young age Wayne developed a love for cars by working side by side with his father on dream machines like Duesenbergs, Lincolns, Packards and Ford Model As.

As stated in his company bio he became infatuated with Ferrari at the age of nine when he got his first ride in one. It was a 1960 Rosso Chiaro 250 SWB that triggered a life long love of the Italian supercars and he has never looked back.

Throughout the years Wayne was mentored by some of the foremost Ferrari experts in the business like Luigi Chinetti and François Sicard, a Connecticut mechanic widely known as the go-to guy for a Ferrari in need of repair. As the student surpassed his masters ( or at least equaled their knowledge and skills), Wayne opened and continues to run three successful businesses in Portland, Connecticut.

F40 Motorsports is a showroom for sports, exotics, classics and late model automobiles. Here they buys, sell, consign and trade some of the most exclusive and rarest vehicles available. Continental Auto Ltd. is a collision shop specializing in high-end and exotic automobile repair. Carini Carozzeria is the restoration shop where Wayne spends most of his time.

Mr Carini never searched for television fame, but rather fame found him. A small piece in the New Your Times was done on Wayne and the passion he had for cars and it caught the eye of producers who quickly realized Wayne would make the perfect host of a reality show based on finding rare classic cars.

Now in its tenth season, Chasing Classic Cars has become the realest of all reality classic car shows.

Chasing Classic Cars has an authentic story line where Wayne seeks out, acquires, refurbishes or restores as needed to bring rare classics back to life. Wayne captivates the audience with his sincere and genuine approach that fans find irreplaceable.

The show takes a much classier approach to the reality TV genre. There have been so many shows that focus on rowdy behavior from foul-mouthed, low talent hosts that are on TV for their shock value. Instead Chasing Classic Cars is simply committed to showing Wayne’s fair business practices and his an incredible knowledge of not only classic cars but rare exotic cars as well.

It is shows like this one that last the test of time and for good reason. It is quality television that is sophisticated, intelligent, entertaining and educational. Each week Wayne takes his viewers inside his inner circle and shares his insight and knowledge that has taken a lifetime to learn. This “reality show” has REAL content. Each episode is well executed with a sense of honesty you rarely find on any television show.

The weekly episodes where we see the sellers, the buyers, his staff and a level of pure professionalism are always a pleasure to watch. This show is a great look into the story of some very interesting classic cars, their history, their owners and ultimate outcome of the chosen vehicle.

Chasing Classic Cars can bee seen on the Velocity Network every Tuesday at 10pm / 9pm Central. If you love classic cars and have not seen this show yet, do yourself a favor and set your DVR to record it. You won’t be disappointed.
