Barrett-Jackson 2020 is Set To Be Bigger and Better Than Ever Before

2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

The 49th Annual Barrett-Jackson Auction is happening January 11-19, 2020, at WestWorld of Scottsdale.  This year is staged to be the biggest auction event that has ever been done at this location.  For starters, they are extending the prime-time bidding times on “Fantastic Friday” and “Super Saturday”.  An increase in the amount of very high-quality vehicles is the reason the bidding times are being extended.

There is a video on the Barrett-Jackson website that announces this breaking news.  Steve Davis, President of Barrett Jackson, and Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, tell all about the new prime-time bidding hours and the additional showcase of 125 cars in an all-new, unique setting in the Equidome.  If you have ever been to the Scottsdale event, it is hard to comprehend that there will be even more cars and more exhibit spaces for guests to enjoy.

“Our Scottsdale Fantastic Friday and Super Saturday auctions will be nothing short of historic,” said Craig Jackson. “We’re experiencing an unprecedented surge in high-quality, highly desirable consignments that will be crossing the block on those two days in particular. To accommodate these incredible vehicles, we’re extending our prime time selling hours on both days, giving our guests and bidders a front row seat to auction history. The auction we’re putting together in Scottsdale further validates why Barrett-Jackson was voted USA Today’s No. 1 Best Attraction for Car Lovers.”

“Missing out on the extended prime time auctions on Friday and Saturday will be tantamount to missing out on collector car auction history,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “We’re not only utilizing every square inch of our usual covered areas to display cars, we’re also preparing the Equidome at WestWorld – where our bull riding and bullfighting special events have been held in the past – to accommodate the outpouring of quality consignments. This will be the collector car auction of the year. We’re inviting all of our guests to stay later into the night and celebrate the cavalcade of highly coveted, rare and desirable collector cars crossing the block Friday and Saturday.”

There will be so many special vehicles at the auction this year.  One of the more special collections that we cannot wait to see is the Paul Walker collection.  Twenty-one incredible cars from the private collection of the late actor, Paul Walker, (Fast & the Furious star) will go across the auction block.

“We’re deeply honored to offer the amazing Paul Walker Collection at our 2020 Scottdale Auction,” said Craig Jackson chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Paul’s impact was immense through both his influence as an actor in the ‘Fast and the Furious’ movies and his philanthropic drive as the founder of Reach Out Worldwide. We’re proud to help continue Paul Walker’s legacy by offering his esteemed collection to their new caretakers at our flagship Scottsdale event.”

There are also 9 charity vehicles, including the very first C8 Corvette, that will cross the auction block.  Barrett-Jackson is notorious for giving back and this year is no different.  “Supporting philanthropic organizations is the very foundation of our company,” Craig Jackson said in a news release. “It brings everyone at Barrett-Jackson immense joy knowing we’re helping make a difference in communities nationwide.”

These are the 9 charity vehicles that will hopefully bring in top dollar for charity contributions.
