A Look Back at the Most Memorable Classic Car Restorations at Wilson Auto Repair

We were going through some old photos of restorations and repairs we have done on countless classic cars and truck and thought we should share some of our favorites.

It wasn’t easy narrowing them down to eight of our favorites.  There is something special about each and every classic car or truck that comes through our shop.  These restorations however are some of our personal favorites and most memorable projects.

The first set of pics is of a Chevrolet pickup was one of first restorations by Barry Wilson, owner of Wilson Auto Repair.

Here are some pictures of another early restoration of Barry’s.  It is a Chevy C10 Stepside that gained the nickname of Jeffery.

This 1970 Mustang restoration turned out incredible.  Easily on of our all-time favorite builds.

Here is a 1965 Old Jet Star that was part of Barry’s personal collection.  It was fully restored and nicknamed The Queen.  Certainly, this ride is a classic fit for a king!

You may recognize the rat rod 1949 Ford Pickup that was put together for the shop.  A while back we introduced “Frankie”, our shop truck, to our readers in an article about some fun and interesting facts about the Ford F-Series Pickup.

A prized possession in Barry’s collection is this red 1969 Corvette.  This “little red corvette” is a real head-turner.

Here is a Ford Mustang restoration that was done some years ago that is still a standard of restoration perfection today.

Last but not least, is this cherry 396 Super Sport that we are most certainly proud of.
