Since 1980 Wilson Auto Repair has been restoring and repairing classic cars and trucks from our same original location in Garland, Texas. Customers from all over the Dallas area, and all over the country, have turned to us for the finest classic car restoration services available.
As Wilson Auto Repair continued to grow, so did our need to provide valuable information to our customers and other interested parties. It was out of this need that www.WilsonAuto.com was created. The Wilson Auto Repair website has since then evolved into another well performing tool.

Restorations
The core of our business is full and partial restorations of classic and collector vehicles. We specialize in Ford Mustangs, Tri-Five Chevys, Vintage trucks & Jeeps, but have restored almost all makes and models, both foreign and domestic.
Our full restorations are what’s referred to as a frame off restoration. We disassemble your vehicle to the bare frame. We clean everything and make sure every part works like new. We restore or replace all the parts, and paint them or powder coat them before reinstalling them.
Sometimes our customers simply want a fun weekend driver and will come to us for a partial restoration. Partial classic car and truck restoration services from Wilson Auto Repair are perfect for those that love to drive their cars without worrying too much about the wear and tear.

Our Work

Current Projects
We built this part of our website so our customers could watch the progress of their restorations. It often takes months, if not a year, to complete a frame off restoration correctly. This part of the website allows our customers to keep an eye on their prized possessions every step of the way. While we always welcome visitors to the garage, we love being able to offer this and deliver peace of mind to our customers without having to have them drive down to the shop.

Much of our traffic to the website is to our informational blog. We produce two or more articles a week that cover the classic car & truck industry. We have hundreds of “How To” articles, lots of write-ups about the latest news in the classic car restoration industry and stories that cover major auctions and events like the Barrett Jackson auctions and the Goodguys car show.
