blog-classic-carsNaturally we at Wilson Auto Repair feel that the blog you are currently reading deserves the number one spot for best classic car blog of all time, but we might be biased.  We must be doing something right because Google has given us top rankings as a classic car restoration blog.

All egos aside we know that there are plenty of other quality blogs and information websites that are all about classic cars and trucks.  Here is our list of the top 20 blogs and information websites dedicated to spreading knowledge and news on the world of collector cars and trucks.

    Whatever your passion might be timesunion.com probably has you covered with the latest news and information.  They cover everything from the entertainment world to business to sports, but they also have a ton of in depth articles and interviews relating to the world of classic cars.

    This is a pretty simple website and we might not agree with the choice to use yellow as the main color of the site, but the content speaks for itself.  You will find yourself captivated with their articles and will easily be able to overlook their lemon look.  Maybe it’s us, but we don’t like to associate a “lemon” with our classic cars.

    Jalopnik is another epic internet domain name and comes to us from contributors around the globe.  Beyond the fantastic articles and videos for classic cars, they also deliver the latest news and stories on all things automotive.   It is easily one of the best written blogs available to enthusiasts today.

It is unlikely that you are a classic car enthusiast and are not familiar with ClassicCars.com.  It is the go to place on the internet to look for classic cars to purchase.  They also give us all some incredible articles and eye candy on classic cars and trucks of yesteryear.  Don’t let the name fool you though, they also cover stories on the latest vehicle releases and concept cars that just might become classics someday themselves.

    This blog is the epicenter of classic car eye candy.  There is just page after page of classic cars and trucks in their glory.  There is almost an endless supply of images and articles on hot rods, muscle cars, rat rods, antiques, vintage vehicles and barn finds.  You can even submit your own car to this blog for the world to see if it makes the cut.

    Considered by many to be the world’s leading source of classic car news, Hemmings Motor News has been delivering collector car news through its publications since 1954.  To reach the next generation of collector car enthusiasts, Hemmings Motor News also created the Hemmings Blog, an informal, electronic magazine of sorts, as well as the Hemmings Daily, a free e-mail newsletter that covers the latest news in the collector car hobby.

    It was a tough call on our part not to give Hemmings the top spot.  In many respects it is an easy tie between them and Hagerty.   It really boiled down to the user experience and design of their website the edged Hagerty into first place.  For years Hagerty has been the global leader in collector car insurance.  Their in depth knowledge of vehicles and automotive history is incredible and it shows in the range of seemingly endless articles, videos and information you can find on their blog.
