A 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible Restoration poject started by removing this car from a garage where it had been sitting for a number of years.
We were ask to make the car into a great driver.
We removed the engine, transmission, and drive line. Then we hand cleaned and scraped the underside of the car and applied a fresh coat of undercoating.
The engine was resealed, the transmission rebuilt and the rear axle serviced. In addtion we added new brakes all around, new brake booster, installed Air Conditioning, and an aluminum radiator.
New Tires, Steering wheel, interior touch up and paint, rebuild the carburetor, rebuilt the alternator and painted the engine compartment.
Serviced the top and addressed a lot of small items to make this car into a great driver.
Giving this Olds Cutlass a great ride starts with suspension and steering.
Both front upper and lower control arms were removed and new bushing and ball joints were installed. A larger front sway bar was installed for stability.
The rear control arms were replaced with new Hotchkis control arms and a new rear stablilzer bar was installed.
New inner and outer tie rod ends were install along with an idler arm.

The engine was resealed, and an aluminum radiat0r and electric fan were installed. New gaskets were install on this 1972 Olds Cutlass 350 cid engine. Intake manifold, timing cover gasket and new timing chain and gears, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gaskets were installed.
