This 1965 Mustang is a restoration project. This phase of the project is to replace the floor and trunk pans. When removing the floor pans we found extensive rust in the front main and sub-frame rails under the front pan. The rear wheel tubs were rusted beyond repair as were the rear frame rails that support the leaf springs. All of these areas were cut out and we began installing new metal. The frame rails have gussets on the inside to support the butt weld. All the seam welds are smoothed and are welded on both sides.

We make our frame rails using thicker box steel. We think these rails will give this 1965 Mustang a lot of strength
