This 1963 Corvair Convertible, turbo has been refitted inside with new interior compnents, a new convertible top, completely repainted, engine overhauled, transmission rebuilt, the turbo charger rebuilt, and new rear end gears.
Back up lights and instrumentation lights were not working. We traced out the electrical problem and fixed bad bulb sockets and a bad electrical connection at the fuse panel.
Door seals were installed.
Vent window, window channel runs, and glass weatherstrips were installed.
The convertible header seal and hood seal were replaced.
The engine was removed.
Cylinder heads were rebuilt and new jugs and pistons were installed. The crank shaft was ground and polished. New camshaft, lifters, push rods and rockers were also part of the engine overhaul.
All new main and rod bearings.
The transmission was rebuilt. New thrust washers and bearings, synchronizers and sifter bushings were installed.
All this was done along with a new clutch disc, pressure plate, flywheel and throw out bearing.
