We get a lot of repair work involving a car that has sit for a long time. Best advice we can give is.....do not try to start your car until the gas tank has been drained cleaned and refilled with fresh gas.
This car was started on bad gas. You can see what bad gas does to an engine. It sticks the valve and bends push rods.
We had to remove the cylinder heads and have them reconditioned at a machine shop.
